The roll session is a two hour block of time when the SRC lap pool is made available for people to bring their boats and keep their roll fresh or learn how to roll from a friend. Beginning this year, we will offer kayak roll instruction for $10 per hour.
On Thursdays from January 17 to March 20 2008. 8:30 to 10:30 pm.
Free for students and SRC members. All others $4 per session or $30 for the season.
4. Who is allowed to participate?
Anyone who wants, including students, SRC members, non-members (faculty, staff and families), and community members.
We do have three boats that can be borrowed.
Boats can be brought through the control desk after 8:00p. All boats must be clean and will be checked by the roll session monitor. If boats come into the pool excessively dirty, they will not be allowed into the pool
7. How do I get in if I am not a student or member?
You must pay for the session or the semester at the front desk and obtain a card (semester) that will get you in the building for the pool sessions. You may not utilize the rest of the building. Doing so will jeopardize the privilege of participating in the roll sessions.
Because this is an informal session, it is necessary for participants to monitor their own boats in regard to crowding. If the pool gets too crowded, participants are expected to take turns. A monitor will be present at the pool at all times.
