Summer Membership Plans
The Student Rec. Center is now offering a Summer Membership Plan. The price is $110 for all eligible students, faculty/staff & affiliates. The plan will run from May 19 through August 18. Students must be enrolled for the fall semester to take advantage of the plan. Spouses ($110) and dependants (ages 5-24, $110 covers all dependants in family) can also be enrolled.
Membership Information
Membership to the West Virginia University Student Recreation Center is limited to:
- WVU students, spouses, dependents
- WVU faculty/staff, spouses, dependents
- Approved University Affiliate Group employees, spouses, dependents
Students
WVU students with valid Mountaineer Cards are automatically members through payment of tuition and fees when currently registered for classes.
WVU Faculty/Staff
Employees must present verification of current West Virginia University employment (A valid Mountaineer Card with employee designation satisfies this requirement) and pay the membership fee.
Once eligibility is confirmed and your fee is paid, eligibility will be added to your employee identification card through the Mountaineer Card Office. Spouse and/or family will be issued Student Recreation Cards through the Mountaineer Card Office.

Employment verification will be done through respective Human Resource Departments of each affiliate group.
